A salute to the creator of Amul moppet
Eustace Fernandes, the creator of Amul moppet (Utterly Butterly Girl) passed away at the age of 75 on Thursday 11th March 2010.
His creation, the utterly butterly girl, is one of modern India’s most enduring, popular and recognizable icons comparable only to R. K. Laxman’s Common Man and Air India’s Maharaja.
Thanks for everything Mr Eustace Fernandes. Though you are not there in us now, your moppet will always keep your name alive.
